BugHunter Dvideo is a counter-surveillance device used for detecting wired and wireless hidden cameras. Operating principle
Every hidden camera has a lens. BugHunter Dvideo camera detector emits powerful red flashes, and when they reach the lens, in the devices' viewer you will see a specific glare that can be hardly confused with anything else, as it is brighter than reflections from other objects. To determine if the glare is caused by hidden camera, explore the area from different angles. The glare caused by camera will stay bright and will not change its location, while glare reflected by the other object will disappear, move or fade.

Main features
Detection of any camera lens at 5-20 meters (16-65 feet) distance. Most other camera detectors work at the distance of 2-8 meters (6,5-26 feet). The detection range of this model is 2,5 times wider compared to competitor devices due to the ultraluminous emitters of red spectrum (280 Cd) in its construction.
Extended service life. LEDs will last for years due to the current-limiting resistors.
5 operating modes (adjustable frequency of flashes). The result of detection depends on ambient light, hence there is a possibility to adjust frequency of flashes according to the lighting conditions. In dark rooms it’s recommended to adjust the minimum frequency of flashes, in bright rooms, on the contrary, use more frequent flashes. Switching between different modes is easily performed by ON/OFF button on the back of the device; the selected mode is highlighted.
Additional subsystem of searching near-field hidden cameras. There are 4 green LEDs on the front panel. These LEDs serve as an additional backlight and make it possible to detect hidden cameras in close proximity more effectively. This function is unique.
Battery charge indication and thermal overload protection. The battery charge level is indicated as a number of lighted LEDs on the back of the device. Thus, you always know when it's time to charge the battery. Battery charging is protected from thermal overload which prolongs its life span.

How to use BugHunter Dvideo
The detector is easy to use: you don't need any special or professional skills to detect hidden cameras. Power the device on and inspect the whole room looking through the BugHunter Dvideo's viewer. The red flashes emitted by detector are reflected from hidden cameras’ lenses producing a specific glare. The glare will appear in the detector's viewer as a bright light spot, and those spots need to be inspected closer. If used correctly, BugHunter Dvideo will detect all the cameras wherever they are mounted: in bags, gifts, clothes, on ceilings, floors, walls or even inside home appliances or furniture, etc.
Attention! It is prohibited to point an operating detector to human eyes.
Where can I find a camera? Hidden surveillance equipment can be mounted in saunas, hotels, restaurants, locker rooms, sport clubs, tanning salons, offices, fitting rooms, hostels and rental apartments, etc. It can be disguised as different interior objects. Cameras can be installed in areas that allow easy observation of working spaces, resting places (chairs, sofas, etc.) and doorways. Hollow space of a suspended ceiling, corners, ventilation shaft, furniture elements, comfort items or audio-video equipment can also be considered as suspicious places.
Searching recommendations. Detection of one or two cameras does not mean the room is completely surveillance free. It is necessary to inspect all suspicious places using the device from different angles and perspectives. The detection range does not exceed 20 meters (65 feet).
